When the Denver Broncos drafted Royce Freeman a few months ago, many people expected incumbent Devontae Booker to be a limited factor in the backfield. However, for now, it appears that Booker will be more involved than we originally realized.

Time will tell if Booker can hold on to this job all season, but if you are looking for some cheap opportunity early in the year, Booker makes a lot of sense. There have been a lot of reports that the coaching staff values Booker. As a result, he is starting to climb in drafts.

Don't get me wrong, Freeman is the preferred option. But at cost, Booker is a great value to lead the team in touches over the first quarter of the season. Like a filet mignon with a red wine, Booker could be a great addition for guys drafting Mark Ingram, who will miss the first four games due to a suspension.
