5 High-Ceiling Players to Target in Your Fantasy Football Draft
Which players have the most potential to take you to the top of your league this season?

1. Sammy Watkins, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Sammy Watkins impressed with a nose for the endzone in the second half of last season, catching six of his eight touchdown passes over the final eight games. But when they signed him last offseason, the Los Angeles Rams were surely expecting him to play a bigger role and catch more than just 39 passes all season.

Now, he is a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, where he will compete with Tyreek Hill for targets among the team's top wide receivers. Our models currently project him to finish slightly behind Hill in receptions (68.2), receiving yards (970.0) and touchdowns (6.52). All of those marks represent a significant improvement over his 2016 performance, and the 68.2 receptions would even set a new career high.

Those projections would land him as the 25th-best fantasy wide receiver this season, which is six spots higher than his current ADP (WR30). But reaching his the top-end of his projected output would vault him a whopping 22 spots up the board at his position, giving him incredible upside as the eighth-highest scoring player at his position. A lot might have to happen for that to come to fruition, but there's a chance.
