Raise your hand if you saw Jordy Nelson posting an absurd 6-catch, 173-yard performance in Week 3? Nah, me neither. But there's plenty of reasons to believe this wasn't a one-week wonder, and we need to own the wide receiver moving forward.
Nelson led the way with a team-high eight targets this week, which equaled his entire 2018 total prior to his Week 3 explosion. He also leads the winless Oakland Raiders in air yards per target. In 2016, Nelson flashed that same big-play ability, catching 97 passes for 1,257 receiving yards and 14 scores with a strong 13.0 TAY mark.
Nelson has a tough Week 4 matchup with Cleveland immediately on tap, but with Amari Cooper struggling, Nelson is a fantasy asset we want to roster.
