NFL
7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 7

Frank Gore, RB, Miami Dolphins

Yahoo! Ownership: 26%

As long as fantasy owners keep ignoring Frank Gore, we are going to keep plugging him in as a deep sleeper. Despite getting double-digit carries the last three games and breaking the 100-yard rushing mark in Week 6, Gore remains unowned in nearly three-quarters of fantasy leagues. As he squares off with the 28th-best overall defense, per our schedule adjusted metrics, Gore is a no doubt pickup in deep leagues for Week 7.

With the Dolphins welcoming the Detroit Lions to South Florida this Sunday, the ‘Phins running game gets a boost against a defense allowing 145.5 yards per game and 5.3 yards per rush, the third-most in the NFL. In three of five games played this season, the Lions have allowed at least 169 rushing yards to their opponent.

Gore showed he could still hold his own against a top-five rushing defense, in terms of yards allowed, last week against the Chicago Bears. He is averaging double-digit carries and gets a soft spot in Week 7. What more could you ask for off the wire?
