8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 8
Kenjon Barner stands to see big volume with the Patriots thin at running back and favored by more than 10 points this week.

Kenjon Barner, RB, New England Patriots

Another back who will inherit some volume thanks to injury, Kenjon Barner is the next man up in the injury-riddled New England backfield.

It took both Jeremy Hill and Rex Burkhead landing on IR, and Sony Michel suffering a knee injury, but Barner ran the ball 10 times last week, adding over 12% to his career carry total since he entered the league back in 2013.

He's not going to take work away from James White, who might even see some increased touches on the ground, but White has been happily co-existing with Sony Michel's 20-carry per game average for four weeks, so there's plenty of room for Barner to still see work.

The Pats are also the week's biggest favorites (13.5 points), which means we're likely to see them get out to a lead and go run-heavy. In their last two wins by double-digit margins, Michel ran the ball 43 times.
