Listed as a wide receiver, Cordarrelle Patterson is appealing because of his use as a running back in place of Sony Michel.

Over the past two weeks, Patterson has out-carried James White (21 to 20), although White has continued to be heavily used in the passing game. White has 20 targets over the last two weeks, compared to 1 for Patterson.

But Patterson has been productive as a fill-in running back, taking his 21 carries for 99 yards and 1 touchdown.

Once Michel returns, it's difficult to see Patterson having much value, but as long as Michel is out, Patterson should continue to form a committee in the Pats backfield with White.
