With Hue Jackson and Todd Haley no longer running the show in Cleveland, Duke Johnson recorded a season-high 10 touches and finished with 9 receptions for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns. Johnson's nine targets were a team-best, two more than Jarvis Landry's seven.
Prior to Week 9, Johnson had seen no more than six touches in any game, but with Freddie Kitchens as offensive coordinator, Johnson looks to be a bigger part of the Browns' game plan. The Browns host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10, a team that has been a great matchup for receiving running backs this season. Entering Week 9, the Falcons owned the second-worst defense in the league, per our schedule-adjusted metrics.
If Johnson's increased involvement in the Browns' offensive plans continues next week, he could be a big factor down the stretch in fantasy.
