The Ito Smith hype train has died down, and now that he's owned in under 50% of leagues, he's back on the table as a sleeper play.
This week's matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints has a huge 59.5-point over/under, which is the highest on the slate by a margin of 4 points. This game should have a ton of scoring, making it a prime spot for fantasy production.
While the production hasn't always been there, Smith has played a reasonable 39% of the Falcons' offensive snaps since Week 6, averaging 7.6 carries and 2.6 targets per game in that stretch.
10.2 opportunities per game isn't a lot, but targets are more valuable than carries for fantasy production, making Smith's workload a bit more valuable than it may seem. He has also handled 7 of the Falcons' 13 red zone rushes since Week 6, giving him solid touchdown upside, especially in a game where touchdowns should be easy to come by.
His volume does leave him with a low floor, but his upside more than makes up for that.
