8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 12
With Kerryon Johnson unlikely to play, Theo Riddick should see no shortage of volume on Thursday. What other players are flying under the radar?

LeGarrette Blount, RB, Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are expected to be without Kerryon Johnson (knee) this week, meaning LeGarrette Blount can be expected to take over as the team's lead back.

Even with Theo Riddick playing 45% of the team's offensive snaps, Blount (22%) and Johnson (52%) have combined to be on the field for almost 75%, so Riddick's passing-game domination should not limit Blount's work.

Blount has three games with double-digit carries this season, averaging 7.8 per game, and Johnson has averaged 11.8 per game, with at least 12 in 5 of his last 6 contests.

We can't just expect Blount to see exactly "Blount plus Johnson" number of carries, but he is a safe bet to have double-digits be his floor, while pushing the mid-teens isn't unlikely and even the low-20s is in play if the Lions can get a lead (not the most likely game script, as they are three-point underdogs).

The Chicago Bears are a tough matchup, and Blount has been highly inefficient this year, but volume is priority number one for running backs in fantasy football, and that's an area in which Blount is a safe bet to deliver.
