Spencer Ware is still the guy you want in Kansas City's backfield, but it was actually Damien Williams who got all the glory with a pair of touchdowns against the Ravens. Williams' yardage was underwhelming, collecting just 30 total yards off 8 rushes and 4 receptions (5 targets), but it demonstrates the ever-present upside in this offense, and the double-digit touches are a good sign for his usage moving forward.
Furthermore, Ware missed some time with a shoulder injury against Baltimore, and while he was able to return to the game, the Chiefs have a quick turnaround on Thursday night against the Chargers. At this point, there isn't any indication that Ware is in any danger of missing any time, but it's something worth monitoring early in the week as any setback would almost certainly lead to Williams seeing more work.
Even as things stand, Williams has stand-alone appeal with his increased usage on this offensive juggernaut, particularly with Thursday's game already displaying a massive 56.0-point over/under.
