7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16
Mike Davis is primed for a significant role in the highest-projected scoring game of the week. What other low-owned options are worth a start in Week 16?

Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Yahoo! Ownership: 8%

Playing Michael Gallup after a goose egg in Week 15 takes a lot of faith. But with the amount of action he was getting before the complete offensive bomb last week, and the matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the rookie is worth buying back into in Week 16.

Before the Dallas Cowboys' surprising shutout to the Indianapolis Colts last week, Gallup posted at least five targets in six of seven games. The addition of Amari Cooper to the offense has given a boost to the entire passing game, leaving Gallup to collect 17 catches for 214 yards alongside the former Raider. Gallup is Dak Prescott’s favorite downfield weapon, leading the ‘Boys in air yards with 860. Facing a soft secondary in the Bucs this week, the rookie is in an excellent position to cash in on those bombs.

Tampa ranks 27th in the NFL in both passing yards allowed per game (259.0) and our schedule-adjusted ranks. They have also given up 30 passing touchdowns, the second-most in the league. Overall, wide receivers have scored the fourth-most fantasy points against Tampa Bay. That leaves Gallup as a nice dart throw in Week 16 that could pay off handsomely for those who play him.
