7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16
Mike Davis is primed for a significant role in the highest-projected scoring game of the week. What other low-owned options are worth a start in Week 16?

Sam Darnold, QB, New York Jets

Yahoo! Ownership: 6%

The NFL’s league-leader in interceptions may seem like a strange plug during championship week, but Sam Darnold has improved his play -- and efficiency -- since returning from a foot injury two weeks ago.

Over his last couple games, the New York Jets' quarterback has completed 64.5% of his 62 pass attempts for 423 yards, 3 touchdowns, and just 1 interception. His completion percentage plus interception rate (1.6%) in the 2 contests is a stark improvement over his 55.0% completion percentage and 4.9% interception rate in his first 9 games. Darnold's 21.62 fantasy points in Week 15 ranked him as the QB3 for the week. This Sunday, he is looking at another top 10 finish as he faces a struggling Green Bay Packers defense.

In 4 of their last 5 games, the Packers have allowed at least 2 touchdown passes and 20 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Those 4 signal callers have averaged 266.0 passing yards per game while throwing just 1 interception. In fact, since Week 6, Green Bay has picked off only two passes. Green Bay will also likely be missing their number-two sack man in Kenny Clark, leaving Darnold with plenty of time to pick apart the secondary this Sunday.
