7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16
Mike Davis is primed for a significant role in the highest-projected scoring game of the week. What other low-owned options are worth a start in Week 16?

Zach Zenner, RB, Detroit Lions

Yahoo! Ownership: 2%

A fan favorite, Zach Zenner has roared back to life in fantasy due to the season-ending injury to Kerryon Johnson.

Over the last two weeks, Zenner has seen double-digit carries for the Detroit Lions, even earning the starting running back nod over a struggling LeGarrette Blount in Week 15. Zenner has taken advantage of Blount’s ineffectiveness -- 35 carries for 103 yards the last 3 games -- to carve out the lead-back role. He has performed well, too, posting 99 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries the previous 2 contests. He also added three yard-less catches for some extra PPR juice. With Blount nursing a calf injury, Zenner is poised for another week of double-digit carries on Sunday.

While the Minnesota Vikings rank 13th against the run in rushing yards allowed for the season, they have been thrashed on the ground in their last three games. The Patriots, Seahawks, and Dolphins have all gained at least 156 rushing yards against Minny the previous 3 weeks, making it 4 out of their last 5 opponents to gain at least 148. If that trend continues, Zenner is in an excellent position to thrive for those desperate fantasy teams in Week 16.
