Anymore, it's hard for me to find time to set my brain free and let it roam where it pleases; to just take it off the leash and see what happens.
Not only does ever-present access to technology usually result in me finding a way to fill any free time I have, I'm a dad of two little dudes, so free time in general is a scarce commodity.
One of the glorious exceptions is in the shower. Ah, the shower.
In there, I'm free. There's nothing to do -- well, besides cleaning. It's warm. It's relaxing. It's just ... peaceful.
And as a result, my brain does its best work in there.
I was in the shower when I came up with how I was going to propose to my wife. I was in there when I decided on what college I was going to give too much money to for four years of schooling. After searching for my keys all over creation, I was in the shower when I remembered where I put them -- just standing there, letting the water hit me, unplugging from everything.
The shower, for me, is an escape from the duties of day-to-day life. It's a chance to do nothing -- not a darn thing (I do clean myself, to be clear) -- and sometimes in those moments, things just click in the ol' noggin.
For dynasty leaguers, the offseason is a warm shower. It's a time to unwind from the weekly grind of everything that comes with in-season management. It's an opportunity to recharge the batteries and rid yourself of the emotion of the past season.
More than anything, the offseason is the perfect time to step back and take a big-picture look at our rosters, and with our minds free from waiver moves and the weekly letdown of watching your Chris Hogan shares burn despite him playing a massive amount of snaps, we can think more clearly.
With that in mind, here are six players who are appealing buy-low targets for this offseason. For various reasons, these guys can be had at a nice price, and they can help your squad in 2019 and beyond.
