Russell Wilson is seventh on our list of top quarterbacks for fantasy football this season, which is fairly remarkable considering the low volume he sees as the leader of the second most run-heavy offense in the NFL last year.
In fact, Wilson finished seventh among all passers in NEP last year despite dropping back only 451 times. (For reference, half of the top 10 went back to pass over 570 times.) That's because he's ridiculously efficient, not only as a "game manager" and a careful passer, but also at creating big plays and producing in key moments.
Add in his running ability, and you've got a fantasy football player's dream come true. Were it not for his team's run-heavy nature, he'd be much higher on this list. He's just so good in every phase of the game, especially for a player with his experience level.
