People hate Tony Romo and think that he's not a clutch quarterback, but it really doesn't make much sense. I wrote about this during the offseason: Tony Romo is clutch. In fact, he's one of the most clutch quarterbacks in the NFL.
We saw that last night. With his team down after a late Eli Manning touchdown pass, Romo drove the Cowboys offense down the field for a last-minute score. Romo finished the game with a Passing NEP well above 10, which will add to his total that ranks in the top seven among all quarterbacks in 2014. On a per drop back basis, Romo has performed like a top-five passer.
Can we please give the guy a little credit?
