4 Things I Learned From Week 16 of the NFL Season
Tony Romo continues to ball in December -- can we please put the narrative to rest?

The Saints Were a Huge Disappointment

I can say the Saints "were" a disappointment now that they're eliminated from the playoffs, but, man, what a bad season for New Orleans.

The most frustrating thing about the Saints is that they weren't nearly as bad as their record indicates. Entering Week 16, the Saints ranked 16th in our analytically-driven power rankings, two spots ahead of the Falcons and seven ahead of the Panthers. The defense had been a detriment all season long, ranking as the worst in the league per NEP, but the offense continued to not step up in plus matchups down the stretch, failing to generate points in two key games versus the aforementioned Falcons and Panthers.

It'll be a long offseason for a team that had high expectations entering 2014.
