ADP: 99 (8.11)
Even prior to the Michael Floyd's injury that will keep him out of the Cardinals training camp for the next few weeks, I was already extremely bullish on Arizona's second-year man John Brown.
While Brown's 48 receptions for 696 yards and 5 touchdowns weren't very impressive compared to the numbers put up by the more heralded receivers in his rookie class, he did fairly well for himself considering that, for most of the year, Drew Stanton, Logan Thomas, and Ryan Lindley were the ones throwing him the ball.
But now with Carson Palmer back under center in Arizona, Brown has the quarterback he needs to put up some big numbers -- had Palmer played all 16 games for the Cardinals last year, Brown's projected totals of 53 receptions, 840 yards, and 8 touchdowns would have been nearly identical to T.Y. Hilton's rookie year numbers, a player Brown has frequently drawn comparisons to.
In this regard, Brown has put in the time to build on the chemistry he was starting to develop with Palmer last season, with reports that the two were living together this summer in an effort to get on the same page. In addition to this, to address concerns about his size, Brown also put on 10 pounds of muscle in the offseason to better handle the physicality of the pro game.
Combined with his superior agility and speed, along with an on-field skill set coveted by head coach Bruce Arians (who recently compared Brown to All Pro wideout Marvin Harrison), it's no wonder that many are expecting big things out of Brown for 2015.
Bristling with the potential to have the type of breakout season that wins people championships, If you get to the middle-to-late rounds of your draft and see him just sitting there for the taking, run and grab him. Given his ADP and tremendous upside, it's the low-risk, high-reward type of situation that league titles are made of.
