ADP: 87 (8.02)
With all eyes on Julio Jones in Atlanta, quietly slipping down draft boards is the dependable veteran Roddy White.
While White clearly isn't the perennial WR1 he was in seasons past, public opinion on the former All-Pro wideout has swung to an unjustified low. In terms of efficiency, White's 0.68 and 0.64 Reception NEP per target in 2013 and 2014, respectively, is right in line with his career mark of 0.70.
And given his ability to continue to move the chains and put points on the board, White will continue to have a role in this Falcons offense.
On this note, our projections have White finishing the year as this season's WR23, with just under 76 receptions for 953 yards and 7 touchdowns. And despite a drop-off in production as age catches up to Falcons' veteran wideout, these per-game averages of 4.8 receptions, 59.6 yards, and 0.44 touchdowns would still be in line with the 5.3 receptions, 60.4 yards, and 0.37 touchdowns per game White has put up over the past two seasons.
So with all the defensive coverage rolling to Julio Jones' side and with big question marks in their running game this season, you can feel confident targeting White in the 8th round as a WR2 that will receiver plenty of work for the Falcons in 2015.
