10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 1
Just because it's only Week 1 doesn't mean your team can't use a sleeper or two.

Darren McFadden, RB, Dallas Cowboys

When you're looking for a sleeper running back, a positive game script (i.e. one that should see his team in the lead during the game) is a good start. The Dallas Cowboys are one of the biggest favorites on the week, favored by 5.5 points. Oh, and the game has a pretty hefty over/under of 51.5.

Throw in the fact that their opponent, the New York Giants, ranked 30th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play and 23rd to fantasy points allowed to running backs, and everything seems to be lining up. The biggest issue is figuring out just who will see the biggest workload.

There are no guarantees, but full-blown running back by committee. Odds are you don't plan on starting McFadden, but even in a committee, he could give you a solid Week 1 outing in this matchup given the circumstances and his draft cost.
