Once again I'll be hunting for touchdowns with my budget tight end play this week, and once again Richard Rodgers is my pick.
The Packers should have plenty of touchdowns to go around this week, as Vegas projects them the third-highest team total of the week at 28 points.
We only have a small sample size for Rodgers' red-zone receiving prowess, but he has converted 2 touchdowns on 8 red zone targets in his career, for a 25.0% touchdown rate, slightly higher than the team average of 23.9%.
Eddie Lacy didn't practice on Thursday, and there's a good chance he misses, or is at the very least limited in, Monday's game. Lacy is one of the team's top options on the goal line (he had 20 carries inside the 10 yard line in 2014), and with James Starks being a much less effective goalline back than Lacy (since 2013 Starks has only a 5% touchdown rate on carries inside the 10 yard line, while Lacy's sits at 39%), there should be even more opportunities for receiving touchdowns to go around.
