Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 3
Michael Bennett is a princely defensive line option at a pauper's price for Week 3.

Corey Graham, Safety

Corey Graham is a surprisingly-low scorer currently, as he is just the 51st-highest scoring safety in balanced IDP scoring going into Week 3. This converted cornerback has much better potential than that, however, and his versatility is what makes him such a threat to opposing quarterbacks. He typically plays the free safety position, which allows him to use his coverage abilities to pull off big play turnovers. However, head coach Rex Ryan likes his safeties to rotate, and Graham may find himself playing in the tackle box and racking up tackle opportunities if the situation depends on it.

He and the Buffalo Bills take on Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins this week, in what may actually be a close contest. With Tannehill beginning to perfect the deep pass lately, Graham may have plenty of centerfield work to do on Sunday, but his 10 total tackles last week give us hope that this week won’t be a coverage donut for the versatile defensive back.

Graham is available in 82.2% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for around 5.0 tackles, strong potential for an interception, one pass defensed, and a total score of 7.58 balanced fantasy points in Week 3.
