Recommending Jamison Crowder might have been more prescient a week or two ago, but even after Jordan Reed's return, he still showed that he's earned a spot in the Redskins' offense in Week 7. Securing all 5 of his targets for 48 yards, Crowder indicated why he can be a valuable pickup in deeper PPR leagues.
Crowder received one fewer target than the Redskins' other slot receiver, Andre Roberts, in Week 7. However, the fact that Crowder has received at least five targets in each of the last five weeks suggests that he is still the Redskins' slot man to own. Crowder's also compiled a 0.55 Reception NEP per target through Week 6, which is the best level of efficiency among all Redskins receivers this season, despite it not being very impressive overall.
If the aforementioned Diggs, Matthews, or Washington have already been scooped up, and if you participate in a deep league in a PPR format, Crowder is worth a look to provide some stability and predictability for your lineup during bye week pinches.
