5 Daily Fantasy Football Matchups to Exploit in Week 10
Even though your opponents may be starting to recognize the week's best matchups, there are others to take advantage of in Week 10.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rushing Offense

The last two weeks have been nothing short of gross for Doug Martin. He has carried the ball 34 times for a grand total of 102 yards. That would seem bad for a piece about efficiency, right?

This one is more about the team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing than the Bucs themselves. The Dallas Cowboys have struggled mightily against the rush, and they're trending the wrong direction.

In Week 2, the Cowboys held the Philadelphia Eagles to seven total rushing yards. Whew. That's straight fire.

Since then, though, it's been a tough road. They have allowed an average of 131.2 rushing yards per game, never dipping below 103. This included 172 yards on the ground -- at home, no loss -- to those same Eagles in Week 9. As a result, they've dropped all the way down to 30th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.

On the year, Martin has had at least 12 touches in every game. Of the eight running backs who have at least 12 touches against the Cowboys this year, half have finished in the top 10 in scoring at the position for the week. The Cowboys have allowed 12 different running backs to score 10 or more FanDuel points this year. As a reminder, that's over only eight games. This all bodes well for Martin.

Martin's consistency in fantasy this year has been unattractive at best. He has failed to top 10 points in five of his eight games. However, he's getting opportunities. He has carried the ball 23 times in the red zone this year, and eight of those have come in the past two weeks. He has only converted three of those 23 carries into touchdowns, but he could be due for some regression in that area against a bad rush defense.

With Martin, you're inheriting a frightening floor. We saw that just last week against another seemingly below-average rush defense. However, as the spread with the Buccaneers favored by one reflects, Tampa Bay isn't likely to enter negative game script as quickly as they did last week. If they can get a lead and maintain it, that'll give Martin more exposure to a porous defense, and that could lead to solid production at a reduced price.
