As the Steelers head into a difficult matchup in Seattle this weekend, Ben Roethlisberger is likely to face a stiff pass rush. To combat this, we can look for the Steelers to utilize quick, short passes to offset the pressure.
And while DeAngelo Williams is a capable receiving option out of the backfield -- he has seven catches over his previous three games -- the preferred method by most teams has been to exploit the Seahawks with the use of a pass catching tight end. Luckily for the Steelers, they happen to have just the guy for the job.
Heath Miller has been a volatile option at tight end this season but is only two games removed from a 10-catch, 105-yard receiving day in a game that he served in a very similar function as Roethlisberger's primary safety valve.
Understanding that he does come with a bit of risk is important, but it's difficult to find many tight ends who don't carry that same risk right now. With Seattle having allowed the fourth most fantasy points to the position on the season, look for Miller to return low-end TE1 value this weekend in what should be a competitive game.
