My first memory of Matt Hasselbeck as an NFL player is of him throwing a touchdown on a fake field goal as a Green Bay Packer. I was in middle school at the time.
I'll be 29 soon, and somehow Hasselbeck is still hanging around. Yeah, I didn't see it coming back then, either. The weirdest part is, not only is he still playing, but he actually makes for a very intriguing fantasy play this week in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers pass defense is average in terms of our Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play (17th), but have fared far worse in regards to fantasy production allowed. Sitting seventh in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, Pittsburgh has given up four or more passing touchdowns on three occasions this season. With Indianapolis' full arsenal of weapons at his disposal, Hasselbeck is in position for a nice game in Week 13.
