Owned in only 33% of ESPN fantasy leagues, Ryan Fitzpatrick is primed for another big game in Week 13. Fitzpatrick sits a very average 17th within our Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric, but the former Ivy league signal-caller will take on the New York Giants and their ninth worst pass defense (per our Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play metric).
Having allowed the fifth most fantasy points to quarterbacks on the season -- and the most passing yards -- the Giants should struggle to shut down Fitzpatrick's two main targets, Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, in this game. Marshall and Decker combined for three touchdowns last week, and should have no trouble putting forth another strong effort in this matchup at MetLife Stadium.
At QB9 in our rankings, Fitzpatrick deserves consideration over many popular quarterbacks plays such as Drew Brees or Russell Wilson this week.
