The 5 Best 3rd-Down Quarterbacks of 2015
Third-down offensive situations can often times make or break a team's chances of winning a given game. Which quarterbacks came through in 2015?

5. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons

Matt Ryan’s inclusion on this list is a bit strange, considering he completed just 56.9 percent of his 3rd-down pass attempts.

Despite the low completion percentage, he led an offense that converted on 47.4 percent of their 3rd-down situations -- third best in the league.

He ranked outside of the top eight in terms of Passing NEP per drop back on 3rd-down plays, somewhat due to the fact that he led the league in 3rd-down passing attempts (188).

Ryan did, however, rank fourth in Passing Success Rate (48.35%), showing that he contributed positively on nearly half of his 3rd-down throws.

Regardless of his perceived inconsistent play, Ryan shined when his team needed him to continue offensive drives.
