Drafter Comments
"Western Kentucky is known to be quite good at developing tight ends, and Higbee is another one of their projects, drafted in the fourth round. Like I mentioned with Cooper, the Rams gave up a lot to land Jared Goff and needed some weapons to properly develop their young gun. While Higbee certainly might not have the fantasy potential as Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, he has drawn many comparisons to Coby Fleener in how he plays the game. It's hard to say at this point, and while Higbee may not have fantasy relevance, all he has to do to start for the Rams is to pass and beat Lance Kendricks and Cory Harkey to start as a rookie. It could very well happen." -- Zachary Robinson

"Higbee was my top tight end prospect in the draft, and I really love this landing spot with the Rams. It may not seem ideal on the surface due to the run-heavy nature of Jeff Fisher, but with a rookie quarterback under center, I'm expecting a lot of check down and intermediate type of throws, especially considering the wide receivers in LA. Higbee is immediately the best tight end on this team, and was fantastic for Western Kentucky, averaging 62.6 yards and 0.9 touchdowns in his final season." -- Anthony Amico
