3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 1/4/17
Mikael Backlund and his line mates make for a high-upside stack tonight against the Avalanche.

Detroit Red Wings

Players to Stack: Frans Nielsen, Gustav Nyquist, and Thomas Vanek

Much like Calgary's second line, these three have gone overlooked and all play on the same power play unit.

They are in a good matchup against the Ryan Getzlaf-less Anaheim Ducks, and even before Getzlaf's injury, his line featuring Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell was struggling to produce. Ryan Kesler and his line will mainly be focused on Henrik Zetterberg and the Detroit Red Wings' top line, opening the door for Detroit's second unit.

The Red Wings' second line has been playing at an extremely high pace with an 81 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 59.2 Corsi For %. They will mostly be matched up with Anaheim's second and third lines, which are thin, to say the least.

With the Ducks struggling in net (Gibson 78.4 High Danger Save %) and without their best playmaker, look for Detroit's second line to do some damage at a low cost, low ownership, and with high upside.
