For the Carolina Hurricanes, most of their viable options are being protected. That leaves a few low-risk options open for selection, and Viktor Stalberg makes for a decent choice. Stalberg put up impressive numbers in stints with the Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, and now Carolina, and he has proven that he can be a top-six forward if needed. Stalberg is probably best used in a bottom-6 role as shown by his respectable career average of about 20 to 25 points per season. This pick would give Vegas some valuable secondary scoring, a key piece in which multiple other teams have had trouble finding over the years.
