Ville Pokka is incredibly unproven in the NHL, but he may have the highest ceiling of any prospect who is available from Chicago. He has put up 30- and 45-point seasons as a defenseman in the AHL, which is incredibly impressive for a 22-year old. Overall, Pokka is probably the most shot-in-the-dark pick for the Golden Knights, but he could potentially become a franchise player. Chicago can't protect him due to the absurd number of no-move clauses they have issued to their star players. If he pans out, Pokka can be a centerpiece for Vegas in the future.
