3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 1/17/17
Ryan Johansen and his new linemates -- Filip Forsberg and Craig Smith -- are in a good spot against the Vancouver Canucks. Which other players make for a good stack?

Minnesota Wild

Players to target: Nino Niederreiter, Erik Haula, and Jason Pominville

This is a low-priced stack which can allow you to pay up for guys like Patrick Kane, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Auston Matthews. but this line on its own has great advanced statistics. Even as the "third" line for the Minnesota Wild, they are not just a checking line. They own a 59 Corsi For per 60 minutes, 53 Corsi For %, and each one of them has over a 13 Individual Corsi per 60 minutes, which would be great as a second line for most other teams.

The New Jersey Devils only have one line (Taylor Hall, Adam Henrique, P.A. Parenteau) that the that the Wild will be worried about. Mikko Koivu and the Wild's second line should take care of them for the most part, opening the first and third lines for scoring chances. The New Jersey Devils have the fourth-worst Corsi For Percentage at 47.07. While this line will not see much power-play time, they make for a cheap stack and one which should have the upper hand at even strength against a below-average Devils team.
