3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 1/17/17
Ryan Johansen and his new linemates -- Filip Forsberg and Craig Smith -- are in a good spot against the Vancouver Canucks. Which other players make for a good stack?

Nashville Predators

Players to target: Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johansen, and Craig Smith

Like the Rangers line discussed earlier, there is no line data for this trio, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't play them.

While this is not a perfect comparison because of the different circumstances, let's make it anyway -- with Mike Ribeiro centering Forsberg and Smith this season, they have accounted for 66 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 58 Corsi For Percentage with 10.3 Scoring Chance For per 60 minutes. Ryan Johansen (11.7 Individual Corsi For per 60 minutes) is a much better offensive center than Mike Ribeiro (6.3 Individual Corsi For per 60 minutes), so there is some upside here.

Forsberg (16.9) and Smith (18.2) own solid Individual Corsi For per 60-minute numbers, but have both disappointed in terms of scoring goals, combining for a total of 15. If there is ever a time for them to get going, it is with a center as talented as Johansen.

They will all get power-play time in a matchup against the Vancouver Canucks, a team which has struggled on the penalty kill -- 79.8% on the season -- and ranks 24th in Corsi For Percentage.
