Players to target: Zack Smith, Kyle Turris, and Ryan Dzingel
This will be one of the lower-owned stacks on the night, but the numbers say it could pay off. Although we are still very early in the season and dealing with small samples, this Ottawa line has posted a 73.1 Corsi For percentage with 4.6 expected Goals For per 60 minutes. These are dominant numbers, and while this line won't keep up that sort of pace, they may not need to in this matchup.
The Turris line will see a lot of the Sean Monahan-John Gaudreau line, which allows the most offense of any line on Calgary (56.4 Corsi Against per 60 minutes). We should see each of these guys on the top power play unit with Erik Karlsson out again. A low-owned line on a short slate with a lot of correlation and upside is always a viable way to go in GPPs.
