Players to Stack: Anze Kopitar, Milan Lucic
FanDuel Price: $13,600
DraftKings Price: $11,400
Kopitar and Lucic play together on the Kings' first line at even strength, and are on the first power play line.
This game is less of a mismatch than the other two I'm targeting, but Los Angeles still has a big edge here. The Kings have been very strong on the offensive end this season, leading the league in both Corsi For percentage and Corsi for per game, while sporting a top-10 power play unit. The Jets rank only 25th in Penalty Kill Percentage, while giving up the second most power play opportunities per game.
As of writing this, Winnipeg hasn't announced their starting goalie for the night yet. Whether it's Ondrej Pavelec or Michael Hutchinson, though, isn't likely to make a big difference. Pavelec has a .904 Save Percentage on the year while Hutchinson is at .905, and both are very likely to struggle in this difficult matchup.
In a game where the Kings are likely going to dominate the puck even more than usual, Kopitar and Lucic's efficiency become very appealing. The two are tied for fourth on the team with 15.0 Shooting Percentages, and they excel at converting scoring chances into goals. Kopitar leads the Kings in points with 67, and Lucic has one of the highest Relative Corsi For Percentages on the team. The pair will have plenty of scoring opportunities, and with the way they've been playing this season, have a great chance to convert that into points.
