5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/1/17
Jorge Bonifacio has been making some excellent contact recently and he's in a great spot against the struggling Dylan Covey. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Monday?

Brandon Guyer, OF, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $2,300

The Cleveland Indians' offense (especially their right-handed bats) is another one you'll want to take a long look at tonight as they take on the Detroit Tigers and lefty Daniel Norris.

Norris has opened the season with a 5.24 SIERA -- bringing his career mark to a shaky 4.38. His 11.0% walk rate is way too close to his 15.0% strikeout rate, and he's also allowing a huge 41.9% hard-hit rate -- a mark that jumps to 44.6% (with only an 8.9% soft-hit rate) if we look at his split against right-handed sticks.

Brandon Guyer hasn't done much this season, but he's only had 36 plate appearances to work with, so we can't read too much into that. However, he show some real promise against southpaws in 2016, with an impressive (and probably unsustainable) .437 wOBA on a 31.1% hard-hit rate through 152 plate appearances.

He's priced pretty close to minimum salary, and in a matchup this good, he only needs to hit the ball a fraction as well as he did in 2016 to return some great value.
