FanDuel Price: $3,000
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Facing Kevin Gausman of the Baltimore Orioles, one of our favorite starting pitchers to target due to his poor performance (5.26 SIERA), Justin Smoak is likely to be a popular play. Smoak is enjoying perhaps the best season of his career with a .408 wOBA in 2017.
With only one hit in his last 16 at-bats entering Tuesday evening's contest, Justin Bour of the Miami Marlins is sure to be a low-owned first basemen.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite hitting the skids lately, Bour should definitely be on your radar tonight.
He's got a tasty matchup with Robert Gsellman of the New York Mets. Gsellman has been brutal this season -- over 73 innings pitched, he has pitched to a 4.69 SIERA while striking out only 15.5% of hitters.
Gsellman has been hit really hard by left-handed bats. For the year, they own a .361 wOBA against him, including a 37.0% hard-hit rate.
All of this makes Bour, who's popped a .942 OPS at home against righties in 2017, a pretty intriguing play.
