4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/25/17
Steve Pearce gets a juicy home matchup with Bartolo Colon tonight. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Matt Olson, 1B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Locked into a tasty matchup against Ty Blach, Paul Goldschmidt should be a chalky play at first base. At home in 265 plate appearances in 2017, Goldy's posted an impressive 169 wRC+ mark.

Returning back to his home park, which checks in at 28th in home run factor over the last three seasons, Matt Olson of the Oakland Athletics could see low ownership on tonight's main slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

The Bay Area may not be a home run haven, but Texas Rangers starter Nick Martinez could make it just that.

In 80 1/3 innings pitched this season, Martinez has recorded a 5.15 SIERA and whiffed only 12.4% of hitters. Lefties have given Martinez a lot more trouble this year -- in 2017, they've battered him for a .378 wOBA, a 33.1% hard-hit rate, and a 41.8% fly-ball rate.

In steps Olson, who's at a solid price point and has ripped lefties for a 147 wRC+, including a healthy .282 ISO.
