FanDuel Price: $3,300
Mark Trumbo is quietly proving he's still got plenty of power and is in a potentially lucrative spot against Aaron Slegers. Slegers has logged all of 20 2/3 career innings, but he has a 5.14 SIERA and 14.0% strikeout rate to show for it. The Triple-A numbers don't add much fear, either, with just a 4.69 FIP and 16.1% strikeout rate this season.
Meanwhile, against righties, Trumbo is producing a 42.0% hard-hit rate and 38.0% fly-ball rate on his way to a .261 ISO and .373 wOBA. It's a massive improvement from last season's lackluster marks, and he's unlikely to garner much attention as an Oriole with a somewhat awkward price point. Against a low-strikeout pitcher like Slegers, you can even consider the rare Baltimore stack, and they remain inexpensive outside of Manny Machado ($4,500).
