More low-priced power, Evan Gattis has turned in a mediocre .321 wOBA, but he's got a strong .243 ISO on a 34.5% hard-hit rate and 46.5% fly-ball rate in 2018.
Not having the platoon advantage hasn't mattered too much for his power, either, with a .215 ISO on a 39.2% hard-hit rate, 14.0% soft-hit rate and 46.8% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching.
Oakland Athletics righty Edwin Jackson has been crushed for a 38.5% hard-hit rate this year (the second-highest in his 16 Major League seasons), while also allowing a 41.0% fly-ball rate. His 4.90 SIERA doesn't inspire any confidence (especially when paired with his 5.03 and 5.23 SIERAs in the last two seasons), and he does nothing to limit Gattis' upside.
