Xander Bogaerts will be a popular play tonight, but an excellent matchup makes Brad Miller an intriguing pivot. Who else makes for a solid contrarian play?

Kendrys Morales, 1B, Kansas City Royals

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Somehow, Kendrys Morales wasn't a popular option last night in a favorable matchup, even with the way he has been hitting recently. Since people continue to overlook his recent dominance, you should be able to get him at a low salary and ownership once again tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

In case you've missed Morales' recent outburst, here are his numbers over his last 10 games: .500 batting average, .632 ISO, 1.132 slugging percentage and 53.3 percent hard-hit rate. He's averaged 20.9 FanDuel points during that span. Oh, and he is still the 19th most expensive first baseman on the slate.

He'll match up with Marcus Stroman, who has a 5.08 ERA on the year and has been atrocious recently -- posting a 7.22 ERA over his past seven starts. In his career, Stroman has posted an xFIP about 0.5 points worse against left-handed batters, which bodes well for the switch-hitting Morales.

Morales has improved numbers across the board while hitting from the left side of the plate and should have a decent chance to extend his recent hot streak into tonight's game.

At this price, Morales is certainly worth a look with the way he's been hitting. The fact that he has a favorable matchup and might see low ownership just makes him all the more enticing.
