FanDuel Price: $3,500
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Both options in the Coors game will see fairly high ownership, while Kris Bryant should be popular in a matchup against Francisco Liriano -- especially at his ridiculously discounted price tag. As a result, Kyle Seager will likely fly under-the-radar.
Why You Should Use Him:
Seager has hit safely in 10 straight games and has an extra base hit in all but one of them. He's been one of the best hitters in baseball over the past two months, and he should be able to continue to exert his dominance in tonight's matchup against Yordano Ventura.
Ventura, the owner of a 5.26 ERA, has been shelled in back to back starts since returning from suspension, posting an unsightly 12.38 ERA. His struggles have been much more apparent against left-handed batters this season, as evidenced by his 4.56 xFIP against righties and 5.57 against lefties.
Seager, a lefty, has crushed right-handed pitching in his career, improving his stats across the board. This season has been no different, as he has a 43.4 percent hard-hit rate against lefties.
If Ventura struggles again tonight, Seager should be a big part of it. He is worth a target in all formats.
