4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/28/16
With Philadelphia's modest implied total, Odubel Herrera may not see much ownership tonight. What other players could make for good contrarian plays?

Odubel Herrera, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Among the top outfield options, Mookie Betts, Ian Desmond, Mark Trumbo, Miguel Sano, and Christian Yelich all find themselves in better on-paper matchups tonight than Odubel Herrera and the Phillies, who are projected for a modest 3.9 runs.

Why You Should Use Him:

Herrera and the Phillies will take on right-hander Matt Wisler tonight, who hasn't fared too well in his last few outings. After allowing six runs in three consecutive starts, Wisler's ERA on the year is up to an unsightly 4.92. Combine that with his 5.30 xFIP against left-handed batters this season, and Herrera seems like a near-lock for a big game.

Herrera, a lefty, has elevated his career slugging percentage by 109 points against righties while also seeing significant jumps in his ISO, wOBA, and hard-hit rate.

He might not be as flashy as some of the other big-name outfielders, but Herrera is an excellent play in all formats while hitting near the top of the order against the reeling Wisler tonight.
