2017 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: How Should the First Round Play Out?
The Philadelphia 76ers will likely make Markelle Fultz the top pick in Thursday's Draft. Who do the numbers tell us should go next?

10. Sacramento Kings (via Pelicans): Justin Jackson, SF

Team needs: Wing production, rebounding, perimeter defense.

If, in this scenario, the Kings snatch up Ball as their point guard at number five, grabbing a wing here makes all the sense in the world.

For starters, the Kings' young, promising power forwards and centers are all wrapped up with team options in the next two-to-three years. Add to that Rudy Gay's decision to opt out and test free agency this summer, and you get a visible hole at the three-spot.

Better yet, the hole was there even this past season. Between Gay's injury and replacement players attempting to fill the void, the Kings were out-produced pretty much across the board. A guy like Justin Jackson, who averaged 18.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists as the ACC Player of the Year a year ago, would shore up another spot for the re-building Kings.
