The 2000 Florida State Seminoles are the team that goes farthest back among the 10. This goes back to the days of Chris Weinke, when he won the Heisman while directing Bobby Bowden's offense.
That year, Weinke tossed 33 touchdowns while racking up 4,167 yards in the 'Noles aerial attack. His main man on the outside was Snoop Minnis, who grabbed 11 touchdowns on 63 catches for a total of 1,340 receiving yards. Defensively, no one name sticks out, but they excelled as a group, ranking among the top teams in both adjusted pass (3.59) and rush (2.67) yards per attempt.
Florida State went 11-1 and averaged 39.3 points in 12 regular seasons. They made it to the title game, but would lose 13-2 to Oklahoma in a defensive struggle.
