Re-Drafting the Defensive Backs from the 2010 NFL Draft Using Advanced Analytics
Has Eric Berry held down the top spot, or has Earl Thomas taken it from him?

2. Eric Berry

CarAV: 48

Despite missing 10 games in 2014 in order to undergo treatment for lymphoma, Eric Berry has fulfilled the expectations of a top-five pick. Coming from Tennessee, the safety has produced 367 tackles, 14 picks and 4 forced fumbles in 86 total games.

It's amazing that 2016 was Berry's best season, but the numbers speak for themselves. In playing all 16 games, Berry rounded up 62 tackles while grabbing 4 picks, 2 of which he took back to the end zone.

Berry's seventh season was worthy of an AV of 12 in addition to Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. Just another year for Berry, though -- he is a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro performer.
