NFL
Fantasy Football: 4 Unexpectedly Great Week 7 Performances

Kenny Stills, WR, Miami Dolphins

Week 7 Fantasy Points: 20.5

Kenny Stills was the second-highest scoring fantasy wide receiver of Week 7. No Jay Cutler? No problem. Stills caught both of his touchdown passes from backup and Week 8 starter Matt Moore.

What can fantasy footballers expect going forward? That's a good question. The change in quarterback may not matter much.

Stills has shown good rapport (in limited opportunity) with Moore, and his target market share should benefit if DeVante Parker continues to miss time. The real problem with Stills from a fantasy perspective is that he's very much a boom-or-bust player.

In 20 of 36 games with the Miami Dolphins, Stills has failed to produce 40 yards receiving. Unless he scores a touchdown (a difficult thing to predict), he seldom has much value because he averages fewer than five targets per game. Without consistent volume, it's hard to expect consistent results.

Enjoy the Week 7 fireworks if you're a Dolphins fan, but don't expect consistent performance from Stills until something changes.
