The 5 Least Efficient Red-Zone Rushers in 2017
Which running backs were the worst performers in the red zone?

Isaiah Crowell, Cleveland Browns

Rushing NEP Per Carry: -0.24

Thought to be a foundational piece of the Cleveland Browns' offense heading into the 2017 season, Isaiah Crowell was instead one of the most inefficient running backs on a per-play basis of the entire league. Overall (not just the red zone), his -0.08 Rushing NEP per play was 17th of 18 backs with at least 200 carries, ahead of only Shady McCoy (-0.09).

Crowell took his inefficiency to brave new depths whenever he was called upon in the red zone last year. He scored one single touchdown on 22 attempts and just 7 of his carries went for positive NEP, giving him a Success Rate of 31.82%. That was 32nd out of 38 qualifiers
