7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Devontae Booker shined in Week 8 and could play a large role for Denver again this Sunday. What other low-owned options are we looking at for Week 9?

Elijah McGuire, RB, New York Jets

Yahoo! Ownership: 9%

Last week, Trenton Cannon got the first shot at filling the Bilal Powell passing-down role in the Jets' offense. With New York trailing all day, he was on the field for 53.7% of the offensive snaps and racked up 9 touches against the Chicago Bears' defense. After being activated from injured reserve, Elijah McGuire is poised to take Cannon's place in the backfield alongside Isaiah Crowell. McGuire returns just in time to face a Dolphins defense that has been much more generous to opposing offenses.

Miami has given up the sixth-most yards (408.0) and points (27.4) per game this season. Running backs specifically have had their way with the 'Phins giving up 1,422 total yards (1,001 rushing, 421 receiving), the most in the NFL to the position. They have surrendered over 100 rushing yards in all but one game this season, with the Bears, Lions, and Texans averaging 200.0 yards on the ground the last three weeks. Overall, running backs are averaging 30.7 PPR points per game against them, the fourth-most in the NFL.

With the Jets potentially chasing points as 3.0-point underdogs, McGuire could see the majority of snaps, like Cannon did, on Sunday.
